Tel-Sys Overview

Tel-Sys is an industrial strength Electronic Control Unit used to enhance the management of lift truck fleets, and to provide lift truck users with a high level of control over lift truck use.

Tel-Sys can help the operator of lift trucks eliminate many redundant activities such as paper based recording of lift truck checks, and training of operators. Interaction with Tel-Sys is intuitive. Through the use of a touch reen and audio tones, the operator is alerted to give feedback to the unit or to raise awareness of a potential problem – such as overloading.

A clear fascia design, a pair of red & green ‘buttons’ and a multi-direction ‘mouse wheel’ provide for simple action with the unit. Grease and industrial grime simply wipe clean from the Tel-Sys display.

Tel-Sys is packaged in an IP67 rated weather resistant enclosure, which in most applications is mounted on the ‘A’ pillar of the lift truck in a location that allows easy viewing.

While the lift truck is operating, information is logged and stored in Tel-Sys. This data is then transmitted over wireless or cellular networks to a network server. Yale® Dealers can gain access to this data through the Yale® Tel-Sys Portal on the Yale® website, and can provide different access and function level permissions for end users to do the same.

The Yale® Tel-Sys Portal is a powerful web based user interface – which includes the ability to create automatic email reports and alerts for both Dealers and Clients. The Yale® Tel-Sys unit and portal work hand in hand to provide Yale® Dealers and Customers with the next generation in Fleet Systems technology.
